The Venue – Richard Nixon Presidential Library Gardens

Richard Nixon Presidential Library is an Orange County wedding venue with timeless charm and is a lovely blank canvas that supports many wedding themes and color schemes. On Chloe and Matthew’s wedding day, guests experienced an elegant white garden ceremony design with a serene pool, lined with palm trees, as the backdrop. 

Their wedding reception was also monochrome with gorgeous white fabric draping the Nixon ballroom, completely amplifying the white wedding color palette. The all-white centerpieces and luxury glassware complemented the ballroom’s classic architecture. Every detail reflected the couple’s love for minimal yet elevated wedding design, proving that black and white weddings can still feel warm and inviting.

A Luxurious Orange County Wedding for Chloe and Matthew

Chloe and Matthew stunned with their exceptionally classic style and bridal details. From popping champagne bottles in her silky pajama set to exiting the wedding in a beaded party dress and fluffy slippers, our bride was riveting. Our favorite part of her bridal look, Christian Louboutin red bottoms. To make this detail even better, Matthew wore matching red bottoms paired with a classic black tuxedo. In addition, a subtle yet unforgettable detail, custom engraved cufflinks for the groom which read, “C&M.”

Planner Tips for an all-white wedding at the Nixon Library

At this wedding venue, you cannot go wrong with the direction of the design. However, some color schemes just really look next level here; and a white and black aesthetic is one of them! Our suggestions for making your all-white wedding feel sophisticated and cohesive: 

• Incorporate various types of flowers in your white floral arrangements to avoid your design looking visually flat. 
• Go for the draping! When white is the main color in your wedding design, it can easily be overpowered by colors in the existing event space. Pipe and drapes mute competing colors in the room and make the white and black contrast more eyecatching. 
• Metals, mirrors, and textures will help to break up the monochrome white wedding design and make it feel fresh and exciting.
