There’s something special about the St. Francis Assisi Chapel at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa that makes a wedding ceremony truly impactful. The dark wood pew seating, red aisle carpet, and golden reredos convey significance and elegance. Andrea and Matt chose to elevate the design with gorgeous floral pillars of red, soft pink, and white placed just outside the chapel doors. Inside were tall arrangements of red roses and hydrangeas hugging the aisle as well as smaller arrangements fastened to the first seat of each row.
We especially enjoyed watching the couple during their handfasting ceremony. They were so eager and shared looks of deep admiration for one another as their hands were bound together symbolizing unity and commitment.

Each table was set to perfection and blended classic red roses with gold accents which made the room feel luxurious and timeless. Tall floral centerpieces at each table elevated the space making it seem even more grand. The uplighting and custom dancefloor monogram highlighted the soft pink hues from the florals modernizing the design to feel soft and romantic.
A really fun detail was their live painting guest book. Andrea and Matt planned to have a large canvas and paint set out during their cocktail hour. Guests wrote heartfelt messages and tried their hand at being an artist to mark themselves in attendance.
