Blame it all on my roots, whenever I see blue and yellow lemons paired together, I think Italy! Andria and Matthew were married in late Spring 2023 surrounded by family, friends, and some of the most tasteful colorful florals we saw in that wedding season. From the venue to the bridesmaid’s patterned dresses, their day was reminiscent of a wedding on the Italian hillside. Being that my family is Italian, I was (and still am) obsessed with this wedding design!
A fun way to keep your wedding reception details fresh is to add a hint of citrus. We’ve seen this wedding trend done with orange slices in florals and garlands. However, this blue and yellow combo with lemons has to be my favorite yet. The fruit was the perfect touch atop Italian Spode dinner plates at each table setting. Also, the idea of a consumable decoration that doubles as a bonus guest favor is a wedding win in my book!
Matthew and his groomsmen looked sharp in striking blue ties which added the perfect pop of color to their tan suits and white dress shirts. Andria’s bridesmaids donned alternating floral patterned and sky blue dresses which I found so creative and fun! This styling decision made for a lovely visual during the wedding ceremony and translated just as nicely for their photos.
Where you choose to host your wedding can make or break your desired theme and design. In this case, the rustic feel of the Twin Oaks Golf Course event space truly set the scene. I love the ceremony area surrounded by green shrubs and white roses as well as the stone which decorates the fireside patio.
We wish Andria and Matthew all the best as they begin this chapter of their lives together. They complement each other so well and we just know their love will be everlasting! If you’re looking for more wedding planning inspiration, browse our Pinterest boards and follow us on Instagram.
