Elissa and Ben’s wedding weekend started with honoring Elissa’s heritage. The night before they said, “I do,” the couple participated in a Tea Ceremony which emphasized harmony, tranquility, and respect. Traditional Chinese wedding customs brought a deep sense of unity, beautifully connecting the past with their future. 

The next day, the scene shifted to a stunning cliffside ceremony. With the Pacific Ocean as their backdrop, Elissa and Ben exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by colorful florals that perfectly matched the joy of the occasion. The acrylic wedding arbor, audio guest book, and confetti ceremony exit felt reflective of the couple’s fun personalities. 

A Reception Full of Surprises

Once the “I dos” were said, Elissa and Ben’s reception took the fun to a whole new level. To kick-off the party, Elissa shocked her family and friends with a post-ceremony haircut—yes, a haircut! Guests slipped on playful glasses that instantly added a festive vibe to the party. A cotton candy cart delighted guests with a sweet tooth, while a cigar bar added a touch of old-school sophistication.

As guests hit the dance floor, they were handed cut-outs of Elissa and Ben’s cat, foam light sticks, and friendship bracelets, turning the reception into a party that felt like a celebration of everyone present, not just the newlyweds.
